With two Bromptons on the way, cafevelo has signed up to ride in the folding bike firm's world championship event, which takes place later this year at Blenheim Palace, UK.

As veteran racers will know, competitors are requested to leave their lycra at home and instead wear a suit jacket (with trousers or shorts), a collared shirt and a tie.

Like the look of this? Then check back soon for the "grand opening" of cafevelo's very own storefront. We wanted to put the system to the test before hitting "go" and the results are good (we placed the order on Sun 27 Apr and our bag was dispatched on Mon 5 May).

You're looking at pix of the messenger bag option and that ain't no logo by the way - it's our working bike (hit "project bike 2006" on the sidebar to find out more). Those wheels brave Bristol's streets on a daily basis, with nothing more than a few track pump strokes of air for thanks.
