Bike show beauties
Singlespeeds were very much in vogue at the London cycle show, with Soma's "Rush" and Kona's "Paddywagon" our pick of the bunch. Kona's is a complete steal at just 500? quid (EURO 750, USD 930).
"More and more, cyclists are discovering the joys of simple, one-speed bicycles," enthuses Sheldon Brown on his website.

Vin de Jalabert
It's red, it's fruity, it's Laurent Jalabert wine! Yes, that's right readers, the former king of the mountain has turned his hand to wine. So, was it worth the effort? Does vin de Jalabert pack the punch of a hors catagory climb, or is it merely a forgettable criterium ride?
Cafe Velo awards this easy drinking number a catagory 2 rating - no summit finish, but definitely enough flavour to leave a lasting impression.
